This medium-bodied round and soft Merlot from Villa Maria is a treat. Dark cherry and plum fruit notes mingle with a hint of smoky vanilla and oak influence. It is made by Alastair Maling, who is a Master of Wine as well as senior winemaker for Villa Maria.
