Expressing the essence of Mendoza
Snuggled in at the foot of the Andes sits Uco valley, a land so beautiful and rich that winemaker Sebastian Zuccardi calls it a "privileged location". "The aim", in the words of Sebastian, is "not to seek perfect wines, but those who express the place, the region". He works to interpret the land faithfully, to express its identity in the wine, leading the growth and development of the Zuccardi range himself under this mantra.
Zuccardi Aluvional is a selection of the best soils of alluvial origin in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The particularities of each plot was disclosed by the variety that best represents the region: Malbec.
The erosive force of these floods generated by melting glaciers and down water, ice and rock with brutal force, can be seen in the soils with rocks of great magnitude, rounded edges and heterogeneity. In developing Zuccardi Aluvional seeks to highlight the uniqueness and authenticity of each terroir
