Hoffmann & Rathbone Blanc de Blancs

Incredible depth & complexity

A wonderful nose with layers of red apple, mango, citrus and an aroma of warm, buttered bread fresh from the oven. Superbly deep and flavoursome, with savoury pastry notes, precise lemon, kumquat, and a yeasty finale.

Hoffmann & Rathbone

Hoffmann & Rathbone is a small boutique winery located in the picturesque village of Mountfield, East-Sussex. Run by husband and wife team Ulrich Hoffmann and Brigit Rathbone, their wine tells a story of love and passion.

Their prestigious 2010 Blanc de Blanc is made from 100 per cent Sussex-grown Chardonnay grapes and aged for four to five years in their cellars. The wine was awarded a gold medal at the 2015 the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), the world's most influential wine competition.

Only 2000 individually-numbered bottles were produced, each bottle a testament to dedication and craft.

You can always recognize a Hoffmann & Rathbone wine by its distinct character, belying the talents of a truly unique, experienced and devoted winemaker.

Time waits for no man, but it must for the perfect wine.Ulrich Hoffmann - Winemaker
