Tasting notes

Big, bold aromas of spice and mocha fill your nose, while intense flavours of plum and chocolate, rich tannins and vanilla mocha notes rock your palate. Serve with saucy ribs, a juicy pepper steak or pasta with spicy red sauce.

With 15% alcohol and packing enough flavour to blow the unsuspecting tasters head off, this really isn’t a wine for the faint-hearted! Brazin is a Zin only winery, boldly and brazenly over-delivering award-winning wines from the most coveted Zinfandel appellations and vineyards in California. Brazin is created from Zinfandel with a splash of Petite Syrah and matured in French and American oak barrels to impart a rich, smoky flavour.

Our favourites

"Never judge a book by its cover', but that's exactly what I did. The bold contemporary label grabbed me the moment I saw it and I've never looked back. Full-bodied, smooth and plummy (without being too jammy), full of black fruit flavours, chocolate notes and a pleasant peppery hit. This huge Californian Zinfandel is a perfect partner to spicy foods (my guilty pleasure being a glass with a pepperoni pizza.) It benefits greatly from a couple of hours breathing before drinking. "
