Mirabeau Cotes de Provence Rosé

Dry, elegant and seriously refreshing rosé
Offer ends 07/05/2024

Using Grenache and Syrah grapes, this comes from enterprising Englishman Stephen Cronk and his family. Gorgeous aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries continue on the palate and its crisp, dry finish makes it a perfect match for salads

  • Mirabeau en Provence

    Mirabeau en Provence

Stephen Cronk has always had a passion for all things wine. By the age of 30 he had successfully run a wine and coffee business before moving into the corporate world of telecommunications, where he would spend the next 15 years.

For many years we had been dreaming and talking about moving to France to make our own wine, but the moment never seemed quite right to make the big leap.

When Stephen was made redundant in 2008 he saw this as the opportunity to make a dream come true.

In 2009, Stephen and his family sold their house and moved to Cotignac, in the heart of Provence.

They spent the following year settling into their new lives and setting up a small wine business with the principle objective of making a Provence rosé

This hard-work, passion and time have resulted in the award-winning, critically acclaimed Mirabeau.

    Tasting note and reviews

A vibrant pink, classic pale Provence rosé whose generous fruit charms the senses immediately with a heady mixture of wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry aromatics.

Surprisingly elegant and balanced on the palate with a delicious fresh acidity, combines with generous fruit to create a sumptuous lingering finish.

Perfect as an aperitif whilst watching the sun go down or drink it as they do in Provence – with almost everything!

91 points Just slightly lighter in color than the classic Mirabeau Rosé, the 2014 Cotes de Provence Pure Rosé comes from higher elevation sites and offers terrific notes of wild strawberries, framboise, dried stones and subtle floral notes on the nose.

Elegant, lively, silky and pure, it's a classy and perfectly balanced rosé that's about as good as Provençal rosés can get. Drink it over the coming summer months.
