Braised ox cheeks
This dish is cooked slowly over several hours to release and tenderise the ox cheeks. A rich, earthy sauce is created and the meat will melt in your mouth. Enjoy with a glass of this classic Pinot Noir from Burgundy to enhance the earthy flavours of this dish.

A taste of burgundy at a bargain price
There is a simple elegance to this Louise Latour - pure Pinot, without complexity perhaps, but there is a pure clarity of ripe cherries, raspberries and strawberries which leaves a freshness in the mouth and wanting more. Less than £10 a bottle you must be joking!!

An excellent YOUNG burgundy
I am with the only other four star review. Yes this is light but it is a 2014 Pinot noir and the price reflects this fact. Who in their right mind would expect a deep, rich burgundy to have with a rich beef bourgignon from this year at this price! This is smooth, fruity with cherries, red currants, strawberries a hint of plum......wonderful as a light summer aperitif with some olives and then perhaps move onto a deep Rioja reserva for much the same price. Alternatively I could go for a ten year old Chambolle Musigny and be a £100 lighter. Get real for the price and the year this is a very quaffable burgundy and in my price range.

A light refreshing medium bodied red wine. Classic blackberry and cherry flavours with a hint of red fruit and spice. Had it lightly chilled with Coq-au-vin followed by cheeses (Comte and Epoisse). Superb
