Tasting notes

A beautiful, fresh, floral and minerally white, produced from old vines grown on the steep volcanic slopes of Santorini. The Assyrtiko grape contributes to a pristine and spicy palate, with fantastic acidity. The white wines of Greece are of course excellent with Mediterranean dishes, try this with grilled halloumi.

Assyrtiko is a white grape variety indigenous to the island of Santorini, but also found elsewhere in Greece. It has a naturally high level of acidity, which produces wines with a mouth-watering freshness. The volcanic soils of Santorini also provide a distinctive minerality, alongside the typical floral and citrus notes.
