Tasting notes

An irresistible white with a lifted spice and lychee character and a full bodied texture. Winemaker Louisa Rose is a whizz with Viognier, and has created this as a bit of a Rhône lookalike. It’s an intensely satisfying wine with rich, peach and nectarine flavours and a wonderful accompaniment to Asian stir-fries and delicious with prawns or scallops.


Yalumba is Australia’s oldest family-owned wine-producer and this is one of its first organically produced wines.

Yalumba is Australia's Viognier expert and it shows in the bottle, which has a lovely texture in the mouth and gorgeous flavours of spice, pear and lychee.
