Extra crisp, dry style with bountiful finesse
25% Off Offer ends 03/01/2017

This has a lovely, fruity palate and a fine, delicate mousse. The long and slow maturation process in cool cellars gives this champagne finesse and a smooth texture. Delicious as an apéritif or with sushi.

Lanson - The original style of Champagne since 1760

Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne houses, established in 1760 by François Delamotte.

It took the name Lanson in 1837 when Jean-Baptiste Lanson took over the management of the estate after Delamotte's death.

In 1900 Queen Victoria awarded Lanson with a Royal Warrant as an official supplier to the Court of England, a distinction which Lanson has retained ever since.

To celebrate 250 years, Lanson launch a special cuvee known as Lanson Extra Age in 2010.

    Tasting Note Lanson Black Label

Lanson believes in retaining finesse and ageing potential by avoiding what's known as malolactic conversion, meaning that there is a crisp freshness and lively fruitiness alongside fine, delicate bubbles.

It's a fantastic choice with shellfish or at the beginning of a celebratory occasion

Perfect food match

Sushi platter

Fresh Sushi is a lovely match to any fizz but especially to this Pinot dominated wine. The full bodiness of this champagne will not over power the light fish flavours but will also stand up to stronger flavours such as pickled ginger and wasabi.
