Bin number:

1 x Anciano Tempranillo Gran Reserva
Valdepeñas, Spain

Alc vol: 13% | Line no: 763607
This is a mature wine from Valdepeñas that shows the characteristic strawberry fruit character of Tempranillo with a softness from extended ageing. Grapes from 30-year-old vines were treated to a slow fermentation before seven years of maturation (including two in oak). This would be a good match for pan-fried duck.

1 x Terre di Faiano Organic Primitivo
Salento, Italy

Alc vol: 14% | Line no: 607989
This is the first organic Primitivo made 100% by the appassimento method. It is a ruby-red colour, with complex aromas reminiscent of cherries, raspberries and redcurrants. The oak ageing adds a pleasant roasted and spicy aroma. On the palate it is full-bodied, supple and smooth, with a long finish. It's ideal with rich meat dishes.

1 x The Whale Caller Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon
Western Cape, South Africa

Alc vol: 13% | Line no: 520727
This super-value, juicy blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon shows ripe blackberry fruit favours and a touch of spice on the fnish. This is an exclusive blend put together by our Buyer and has become one of our most popular wines. Soft enough to be enjoyed on its own, this also works well with rich casseroles or roast dinners.

1 x Santa Julia Malbec
Mendoza, Argentina

Alc vol: 13% | Line no: 743949
Pretty, soft and relaxed, this Malbec has partial and subtle oak ageing, leaving the emphasis on the fruit rather than heavyweight complexity. The silky palate, with spice, damson and black cherry favours, is lightly balanced with some chocolate tones on the finish. Enjoy with pasta or try with oriental dishes.

1 x Château Valfontaine
Bordeaux, France

Alc vol: 12% | Line no: 768681
A soft-textured modern-style claret, this is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Full of red fruit favours with notes of tobacco and spice, this delicious red is elegant and charming enough to be drunk on its own, or with hearty dishes such as mushroom stroganoff or shepherd's pie.

1 x Boekenhoutskloof Porcupine Ridge Syrah
Swartland, South Africa

Alc vol: 14.5% | Line no: 003939
A truly hand-crafted Syrah from the gifted winemaker Marc Kent, who has built up an excellent reputation for the wines he makes. Fermented in small opentop tanks, it is then aged in oak barrels to give the wine its rounded, smooth character. This wine's silky texture and full favour make it a great red to drink on its own or to enjoy with red meat dishes.

1 x Tiki Ridge Sauvignon Blanc Reserve
Marlborough, New Zealand

Alc vol: 12.5% | Line no: 720522
In Maori and Polynesian cultures, a tiki is a carved fgure that represents the creation of man. The vibrant aromas of lime, basil and green pepper in this stylish Sauvignon Blanc come from cooler Awatere Valley fruit, as do the lively, intense favours of fresh redcurrants and gooseberries. A perfect apéritif, and partner for fish, seafood or chicken.

1 x Vignale Pinot Grigio
Veneto, Italy

Alc vol: 12% | Line no: 071198
Smooth and dry, this wine has hints of citrus and apple flavours and a refreshing finish. An extremely successful, excellent-value Pinot Grigio from north-east Italy – a real wine of the moment. Delicious on its own, this lovely white is also extremely versatile with food – try teaming with simple grilled fish dishes or pasta carbonara.

1 x Les Armes de Chablis, Petit Chablis
Burgundy, France

Alc vol: 12.5% | Line no: 854284
A fresh and fruity great-value example of what good Petit Chablis should deliver. The wine is unoaked so that the attractive citrus aromas and green apple favours can shine through to a long, crisp fnish. With its mineral complexity, this would be wonderful paired with shellfsh or even alongside fish and chips with a crisp green salad.

1 x Torres Viña Sol
Catalunya, Spain

Alc vol: 11.5% | Line no: 799709
A deliciously refreshing and fruity dry white made from the local Parellada grape variety. Floral citrus notes are enhanced by a hint of spice, making it very versatile with food. This wine is smooth and sophisticated, complemented by balancing freshness on the palate. A superb accompaniment to fish or light supper meals, or try as an apéritif.

1 x Zalze Bush Vine Chenin Blanc
Coastal Region, South Africa

Alc vol: 13.5% | Line no: 426392
A really exciting Chenin Blanc from South Africa that's easy-drinking, fresh and crisp. This is a dry, unoaked wine marked by delicious, ripe, tropical fruit favours with attractive aromas of lime zest and guava, and is an excellent match with poultry, roast pork or spicy seafood dishes such as chilli prawns. Brilliant value, versatile and refreshing.

1 x Waitrose Prosecco NV

Alc vol: 11% | Line no: 718427
This is a smooth, fresh and fruity Italian fzz with attractive favours of freshly cut red apples, white blossom and pears. On the palate there's a hint of sweet almond, typical of the Prosecco grape variety. This would be perfect as an apéritif or served in the Veneto style as a spritz with soda water, a bitter liqueur such as Campari and a lemon wedge.
