    Three Choirs

Three Choirs is named after the oldest Choral Festival in the world. The three cathedrals of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester hold this festival every year and have done so for centuries. The vineyard is situated midway between the three cathedrals.

The first vines were planted in 1972 and the vineyard has grown steadily over the years. It is now a privately owned limited company, with several shareholders.

    Three Choirs

The winemaker, Martin Fowke, has been making wine for nearly 30 years. During these years Martin had a chance to travel to South America and Eastern Europe to do some vintages and advised on styles suitable for the English market. He has won the UK winemaker of the year award on two occasions.

Three Choirs was the first English vineyard to win a gold medal at Vinexpo in 1983, and since then have won many international and national awards.
