Described by Hine as their 'classic' cognac
This is a complex, long, rich and soft cognac. It’s the most delicate of the Hine cognacs with fruity citrussy aromas on the nose, attractive apple hints on the palate and a long mellow taste in the mouth.
Founded in 1763, Hine is one of the oldest houses in the Cognac region and named after Thomas Hine of Dorset.
Hine's philosophy of creating the highest quality Cognacs respects the Maison’s heritage and terroir and they have been the sole official supplier of Cognac to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II since 1962.
Hine Rare VSOP is a blend of around twenty eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne grapes. Their expertise ensures that the original, delicate flavour from the grapes persists through the distilling, ageing and blending process.
Exceptionally smooth, showing flavours of ripe apricot, succulent melon and roasted nectarine. True to the Hine House style, Rare VSOP is distinctly elegant and loved by connoisseurs and novices alike, thanks to its velvety texture and long finish. It's best enjoyed neat but works equally well in classic cocktails perfect to toast a special occasion.
