The Singleton Tailfire

Sweet with slightly drying oak and a creamy hint of coconut

Instant sweetness, ripe red berry fruit, strawberries, stewed plums and raspberry jam, vibrant cut grass emerges with rounded maltiness, giving way to vanilla and toasted oak.

The Singleton of Dufftown

The Singleton

The Singleton of Dufftown heritage goes back to 1895 when Peter MacKenzie and business partner Richard Stackpole travel from Liverpool to Mortlach to inspect a sawmill and meal mill, with a view to converting to a distillery.

Together with the mill's owner John Symon, and local solicitor Charles MacPherson, the pair form Dufftown-Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd. and the building's conversion begins – Dufftown's sixth distillery is born.

Over the next 120 years, The Singleton range has expanded and the brand has become an expression of top quality Speyside whiskies.

Tasting note

This vibrant evocation of Dufftown's fruity character bursts with notes of fresh red berries and sweet vanilla aromas thanks to the influence of European oak casks.
