Find what you're looking for easily

There are three ways to find what you’re looking for:

Using the wine finder

If you know what type of wines you like but you're looking to unearth something new, use our wine finder to discover some new favourites. Simply select from each of the drop-down menus and set your bottle price using the price slider, click 'Find Wines' and then browse the selection.

Using the search box

Here you can type in the name of the product you want to find, the six digit line number if you know it, or key words such as ‘Australia’ or ‘Shiraz’ when looking for wine. To find a wider selection, keep your terms fairly broad, or if you’re after something specific, you can be more specific, using terms such as ‘Wolf Blass Cabernet Sauvignon’.

Using the navigation tabs

The tabs sitting below the Waitrose Cellar logo are the ‘departments’ of our online shop. Hover over them and a drop-down menu will appear showing what the ‘department’ contains. If you click on one of the tabs, you will be taken to a page displaying products within that department. Here, you will find a menu on the left-hand side of the screen that will help you refine your choices. For example, you can choose to search by ‘Country’, ‘Grape Variety’, ‘Price’ or ‘Customer Rating’ by clicking the arrow beside the relevant search criteria.

Placing your order

Once you've found the products you wish to buy and have added them to your trolley, you can begin the checkout process by clicking on the 'Checkout' button.

You can go straight to checkout to pay for your goods and arrange delivery. You can also register with us before or during the checkout process to retrieve your details and choose a delivery address. You will also be asked to set up a password to access your account.

If you have purchased wine previously, simply use your existing email address and password. If you can't remember your password, you can use the forgotten password link.

Adding a gift message

It's easy to add a gift message to your order. Once you've selected your delivery option, tick the box and type your message in the box (maxiumum of 120 characters including spaces).

Payment options

We offer various ways for you to pay for your order including: Waitrose and John Lewis Business Account Cards; Partnership Card; Visa Debit (Delta); MasterCard; Delta; Maestro UK; American Express and John Lewis & Waitrose gift vouchers.

Please note, Luncheon Vouchers and Coupons cannot be use as a method of payment online. However they may be used when paying in branch.

John Lewis and Waitrose gift vouchers and gift cards

John Lewis and Waitrose gift vouchers can be exchanged for goods in all John Lewis and Waitrose shops, and can also be used to purchase goods online or over the telephone from John Lewis, Waitrose, Waitrose Cellar, Waitrose Florist, Waitrose Gifts, Waitrose Garden and Waitrose Pet. They can also be used to purchase groceries online from the Waitrose groceries website.

Unfortunately, John Lewis Partnership gift cards cannot be redeemed on Waitrose Cellar, Waitrose Florist, Waitrose Gifts, Waitrose Garden and Waitrose Pet - you can use them to purchase goods online or over the telephone from John Lewis and Waitrose.

You may use a combination of gift vouchers and any payment card we accept to pay for your order. Please note that there is a limit of ten gift vouchers per transaction for Groceries, Entertainment, Telegraph Wines, WaitrosePet, WaitroseKitchen, WaitroseFlorist, WaitroseGifts and WaitroseCellar.

Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash. If the goods purchased online total less than the value of the gift voucher(s), we are unable to hold any balance as a credit for you with Waitrose Gifts.

Gift vouchers may not be used to discharge indebtedness on any account or credit card issued by John Lewis plc, Waitrose Ltd, or John Lewis Financial Services, nor may they be used for the purchase either directly or indirectly of any financial product or service, including John Lewis & Waitrose gift vouchers. When redeeming gift vouchers online or over the telephone you will be required to give the serial number of the voucher, and the online security code which is revealed by scratching off the holographic panel. A maximum of ten vouchers can be used per transaction.

Once the panel has been scratched off, the gift voucher cannot be redeemed in any of our shops. If the security code has already been used for shopping online or over the telephone the voucher will be void. If your gift vouchers become accidentally damaged, please contact Customer Care team by emailing waitrosecellar@waitrose.co.uk or by calling 0800 188 881 between:

8am and 10pm Monday to Friday
8am to 9pm Saturday
9am to 7pm Sunday

Gift vouchers are void if the perforated tear-off area has been removed. If you have to return goods you have purchased online using gift vouchers, then in most instances we will send you gift vouchers in the post to replace them. Products bought online from Waitrose Gifts cannot be returned to Waitrose or John Lewis branches. This does not affect your statutory rights.
