This is a mature wine from Valdepeñas that shows the characteristic strawberry fruit character of Tempranillo with a softness from extended ageing. Grapes from 30-year-old vines were treated to a slow fermentation before seven years of maturation (including two in oak). This would be a good match for pan-fried duck.

A deep, opulent ruby-red wine with an aromatic nose and palate, showing intense red berry fruit flavours and a hint of spice. It has a sweet, long
finish and, in comparison with an Argentinian Malbec, will taste softly plummier. This has the scale and intensity to work with big flavours,
such as chilli con carne.

A joyously simple but perfectly executed example of pure Albariño, made by one of the brightest and most astute winemaking concerns in the marineswept
Atlantic coastline region of Galicia. We even included a percentage of the top vineyard in this blend, but have kept the Taboexa name familiar to our customers. Superb with seafood.

The savvy Paul Mas winery in the Languedoc has allowed the characteristics of each variety to shine: Viognier bringing complexity, creaminess and weighty voluptuous favours of juicy peaches; Sauvignon bringing lift, sharp defnition and a bright citrus freshness. This would be fantastic served with Pad Thai.

This is a smooth, fresh and fruity Italian fzz with attractive favours of freshly cut red apples, white blossom and pears. On the palate there's a hint of sweet almond, typical of the Prosecco grape variety. This would be perfect as an apéritif or served in the Veneto style as a spritz with soda water, a bitter liqueur such as Campari and a lemon wedge.
