This is a mature wine from Valdepeñas that shows the characteristic strawberry fruit character of Tempranillo with a softness from extended ageing. Grapes from 30-year-old vines were treated to a slow fermentation before seven years of maturation (including two in oak). This would be a good match for pan-fried duck.

This is the first organic Primitivo made 100% by the appassimento method. It is a ruby-red colour, with complex aromas reminiscent of cherries, raspberries and redcurrants. The oak ageing adds a pleasant roasted and spicy aroma. On the palate it is full-bodied, supple and smooth, with a long finish. It's ideal with rich meat dishes.

Pretty, soft and relaxed, this Malbec has partial and subtle oak ageing, leaving the emphasis on the fruit rather than heavyweight complexity. The silky palate, with spice, damson and black cherry favours, is lightly balanced with some chocolate tones on the finish. Enjoy with pasta or try with oriental dishes.

A soft-textured modern-style claret, this is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Full of red fruit favours with notes of tobacco
and spice, this delicious red is elegant and charming enough to be drunk on its own, or with hearty dishes such as mushroom stroganoff or shepherd's pie.

A truly hand-crafted Syrah from the gifted winemaker Marc Kent, who has built up an excellent reputation for the wines he makes. Fermented in small opentop tanks, it is then aged in oak barrels to give the wine its rounded, smooth character. This wine's silky texture and full favour make it a great red to drink
on its own or to enjoy with red meat dishes.
