An elegant spirit infused with floral and citrus notes
Coastal brewery Adnams have just started making artisan spirits. Infused with just six botanicals, this is an aromatic gin with classic notes of juniper alongside sweet orange, cardamom and hibiscus flowers.

I'm not sure about this one
Pros: Very high quality spirit and full mouthfeel. Makes an interesting G&T and White Lady. It had character, especially for the 40% bottling. Cons: tasted neat, this is too medicinal for me.

interesting citrus flavours
I used to think there was not much between the various Gins - but having sampled a few different ones, I now know that is not the case. Normally I buy Bombay Sapphire or Tarquins (which is hard to find) for or special occasions. This Gin is quite orangey and flowery - which makes it distinctive and it has quite a strong flavour. If you like to drink a long G&T then this is good, because you can make a weak G&T with lots of flavour!

A really wonderful gin
We used to drink all sorts of other standard gins that you buy in supermarkets - Tanqueray, Gordons, even 'treated' ourselves to Bombay Sapphire - but then we were bought a bottle of this as a present and it's really changed the way we look at gin.
It's just so tasty and enjoyable - far better than the gins I've mentioned above. I'm sure there must be many other gins as good as this one, but this is the one that started my new found interest in finding and drinking great gins.
So all in all - definitely worth treating yourself to and trying.
