Sud de France
Wine simply is the heart and soul of the southern French region of Occitanie. The Occitanie region combines the wine regions of the Languedoc Roussillon with part of the vineyards of the South West in the Midi-Pyrénées. The combined vinous wealth of these two regions equates to an incredibly diverse range of wines and styles from big tannic reds to delicate sparkling wines, and from rich dessert wines to aromatic still whites and rosés,
and all covering a very broad range of prices. It is renowned as the most innovative wine region in France, and increasingly as a producer of world class, top quality wines. It also has a wide diversity of terroirs, with 61 AOPs and 29 IGPs spread across 13 departements, so there is always plenty of new and exciting wines to choose from!
