Mumm's the word... for celebration
To open a bottle of Mumm is to treat friends and loved ones to the top-tier of Champagne. Their motto, "Only the Best", is as true today as it was in 1904 when Mumm was given pride of place at the Derby Day banquet served in Buckingham Palace.
To commemorate the honour, Mumm prepared a special label with 'G.H.MUMM et Co.Champagne des Souverains'. To this day it remains an official supplier to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and proudly displays the Royal Warrant on the neck of each bottle, just above its famous red ribbon.
Mumm's uncompromising approach has cemented its reputation as a Champagne worthy of the greatest victories and celebrations - it has graced the winners' podium at Formula 1 races and the decks of victorious boats at Cowes Week. Its name also makes it a particularly appropriate gift for mums-to-be and Mother's Day.
Pop open a bottle of Mumm and you'll be greeted by enticing aromas of ripe apricots peaches and pineapple with a hint of buttery toast. On the palate the dancing bubbles lead to complex citrus, stone fruit and brioche flavours that linger lovingly on the finish.
