Tasting notes

The skills of the winemaker at Château Laroque, Bruno Sainson, have produced a refined wine with a wonderful expression of terroir.

The Laroque estate has been in the hands of the Beaumartin family since 1935. The vines were completely replanted in 1962 and a new team hired 20 years later, including Bruno, were tasked with creating first class wines from the vineyards.

Expert Review

For a splash-out red, this is epic vino. Earthy and truffly complexity with mellow spice, profoundly deep flavours and a turbo-thrust of flavour that seems to pulse and boost even after you've sipped it. Sweetly savoury, enticing and fab.
