Les Chartrons was built on land that belonged to a monastery (or ‘chartreux’), and was also home to 18th-century wine traders. This wine is 60% Merlot, bringing juicy blackberry flavours, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, lending structure, and the remainder Cabernet Franc. Stylish and deliciously approachable, it’s perfect with roast lamb.

With layers of black cherry and notes of vanilla and spices. This is a smooth and velvety red with the softest of tannins.
2 x Araldica Barbera d’Asti Superiore Piedmont , Italy
Alc vol:14.00%
Line no:476078
Warm, spicy aromas of blueberries and plums are complemented by subtle, smoky notes. The palate is rich and generous with juicy cherry and more plum fruit, and meaty, spicy notes beneath. Soft oak tannins offer an extra dimension to the texture. Try this wine with a traditional, richly flavoured lasagne or a hearty stew.
