Ginspiration from the Yarra Valley
Four Pillars Gin was established in 2013 in the Yarra Valley on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia by three mates and one extraordinary copper still. Since then, Four Pillars has become Australia’s number one craft spirit and one of the world’s benchmark distilleries, being awarded International Gin Producer of the Year in 2019 and 2020 by the IWSC.
Bloody Shiraz Gin first came about in 2015 when co-founder and distiller Cameron Mackenzie helped out a winemaker friend by taking a parcel of Shiraz grapes off his hands. The grapes were steeped in Four Pillars original Rare Dry Gin for about eight weeks, allowing the colour and flavour to bleed into the gin. Then the fruit was pressed off and mixed with some more Rare Dry Gin creating the cult favourite purple drink we now know as Bloody Shiraz Gin.
Try this naturally sweet gin (there’s no artificial sugar) with tonic and a squeeze of lemon, then sit back and enjoy.
