It was a dream 'to save the world from mediocre gin' that first inspired Tom and Tina Warner to establish a distillery on their Northamptonshire farm in 2012. And seven years on, that ambition burns brighter than ever.
Their gins are flavoured with hand-picked rhubarb, raspberries, lemon balm and sloes and, wherever possible, they use local ingredients. Their Honeybee Gin is sweetened with honey from the farm, whereas the Harrington Dry Gin marries classic gin botanicals with a touch of Northamptonshire elderflower
Warner's Lemon Balm Gin
The signature botanicals in this award-winning gin are distilled within an hour of picking to capture their vibrant flavours. Lemon balm, lemon verbena and lemon thyme give it a sherbetty flavour that's delicious with tonic

When antique dealer Martin Miller decided to create a gin in 1999, he resolved to do so without compromise. The gin he created, Martin Miller's Gin, is made from the very finest juniper, married with coriander, angelica, lime peel, liquorice root, cassia bark, nutmeg and Florentine iris, rounded out with a subtle hint of cucumber. Before it's bottled, every drop is then shipped to Iceland where it's blended with water from a volcanic spring on the island's west coast, to create a gin of exceptional purity, smoothness and clarity
Martin Miller's Gin
Distilled and blended in small batches, this gin is balanced and soft with gentle juniper and citrus notes, followed by hints of iris and cucumber on the finish. A complex juniper spirit that lends itself to lots of cocktails

It's hard to believe that it's 10 years since the gin renaissance started - in many ways it feels like it's only just beginning. And it seems like that with every day that passes, the choice of gins gets bigger and better.
At Waitrose & Partners, we've always championed classic brands and innovative new producers. Most of our gins are premium and many are local - only available in particular stores or on here at Cellar.
And finally in the last year, the Waitrose & Partners gin range has been recognised with two awards: Icons of Gin Supermarket of the Year 2019 and Think Gin Supermarket Gin Retailers 2018.
