Giesen Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc
Giesen Wines was founded in 1981 by three brothers Theo, Alex and Marcel Giesen from Germany. As adventurous young men, the Giesen brothers travelled the world finally settling in New Zealand, where they agreed that Marlborough was the ideal place to grow grapes. From their first vintage, the Giesen brothers' sense of adventure and determination has shaped their stunning wines.
The Dillons Point region in the Wairau Valley holds a special place in the brothers' hearts as it was the location of their first Marlborough vineyard.
Long dry summer days and cool autumn nights maximise the accumulation of intense flavours and aromatics. Alongside the winemaking team, the Giesen brothers have created a wine with ripe lime, nettles, quince and grapefruit with a lovely depth of aroma. The palate has a juicy texture with wonderful freshness.
The three brothers love getting together with family and friends; sharing a meal, enjoying a wine and celebrating another day. They invite you to do the same.
