Blended and bottled in Devon
When Philip Everett-Lyons relocated to Devon to start a family business, rum seemed the obvious choice given the region’s seafaring heritage. “Gin was obviously on the rise, but I felt rum was really undervalued. Yet it’s a very versatile, elegant spirit” he explains.
Named after Philip’s eldest daughter, Henrietta, Hattiers was launched in 2018 and is proud to have been certified as a B Corporation, meaning they balance purpose and profit. Philip imports premium rums from Central America, the Caribbean, and Australia, and blends the range himself, just 800 yards from the water’s edge on the south Devon coast. “It’s important to us and our authenticity as a B Corp business that everything is done sustainably, here on our estate.”
