Let the deed show

Aberlour whisky is born out of craft, passion and knowledge that’s been handed down through generations. The spirit was created in the 19th century by James Fleming who was keen to let his whisky do the talking and remain true to his family motto, ‘let the deed show’.

The best locally sourced ingredients of barley and pure, soft water from the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain give Aberlour its distinctive quality. To deliver a subtly balanced flavour, the malt is matured for 12 years in the finest hand-picked oloroso sherry butts and American oak barrels, bringing together the characteristics of each cask.
