This area of New Zealand is prized for its distinctive, internationally renowned Sauvignon Blancs made by talented, innovative wineries. One of these is Wither Hills, named after the majestic landmark that borders its vineyards, a sense of which is captured in its bottles.
Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc is exceptional. It's refined and elegant, with vibrant notes of citrus and tropical fruit, a juicy moreish core of guava, and lemon zest, balanced by sea salt and a gentle minerality – all of which leads to a dry, refreshing, zippy finish.
These textures, flavours and aromas make this white ideal for seafood dishes, such as oysters and red snapper, or in a crisp green salad with goat's or feta cheese.
