Beaujolais Wine
The region of Beaujolais produces some of the most fruit-driven reds in Burgundy, mainly made from the Gamay grape and lighter in body. Beaujolais-Villages is a classification of wine and made by a commune of 38 villages. Beaujolais Nouveau is another category, with wines released in the November following an autumn harvest.
