Vegan Wine

What makes a wine vegan? Winemakers use fining agents (gelatin, egg white, milk protein) to clarify wines and catch particles. Vegan wines are made without animal products – particles are left to settle or natural agents are used, eg charcoal, pea protein or bentonite (a form of clay).
