Tasting notes

A wine from the highly regarded Cave de Beblenheim showing great minerality, that is also wonderfully aromatic and fresh. With classic Alsace Pinot Gris notes of smokiness and complex layered flavours of pears and honey, this reserve wine is a brilliant white to match with smoked ham or fish and with most Asian dishes.

From aromatic whites to refreshing light-bodied reds, Alsace offers a wide range of styles. In the east of France and bordering Germany, Alsace is one of the driest regions of the country, being sheltered from the west by the Vosges mountain range. The region is renowned for producing aromatic and intense white wines, including Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris.
