Vegetarian Wine

Next time you're entertaining a vegetarian or vegan, bear in mind that some wines are unsuitable for non meat-eaters. That's because many traditional 'fining' agents - such as egg white and gelatin, which are used in the wine-making process - derive from animals. Alternative fining agents, such as clay can be used by wine-makers.
