Finished in virgin oak casks giving subtle spicy aromas, this single malt is hand-crafted using traditional methods and local ingredients. Candied fruits, vanilla and toffee flavours are balanced with heather honey and a lightly spiced, oaky finish.
The majority of Scottish whisky is matured in old bourbon casks, but not Deanston Virgin Oak Single Malt. Instead, it’s finished in the finest virgin oak casks for 9-12 months to create a perfectly balanced single malt with a delightful sweetness and notes of candied fruits, vanilla toffee and heather honey.
A uniquely waxy whisky, Deanston Virgin Oak has a rich depth of flavour that works brilliantly in an Old Fashioned or a highball. But it’s also great over ice or sipped neat. However you take yours, it'll be a whisky to savour.
