Vintage sparkling wine from the Garden of England
A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grown near the ancient village of Appledore, Kent. It's bright gold with honeyed citrus fruit, peach and sweet spice aromas and preserved lemon, orchard fruit and toasted nuts on the palate.
Guided by nature and inspired by the rich history of traditional winemaking, Gusbourne produces award-winning English still and sparkling wines using only homegrown grapes from its mineral-rich vineyards. Since planting its first vines in 2004, Gusbourne has won a number of awards, including a Gold Medal and the Vintage English Sparkling Trophy at the International Wine Challenge in 2022.
Winemaking at Gusbourne is a careful craft, with a low-intervention approach that puts its trust in the grape and prioritises patience. Headed by award-winning winemaker, Charlie Holland, Gusbourne takes things slowly – testing, tasting and refining its wines in the traditional method – resulting in wines that tell a unique story from vine to pour.
