This ripe and fleshy Médoc has plenty of fruits of the forest flavours, with a delicate, perfumed aroma and a smooth-textured palate offering subtle savoury, spicy notes. A light touch of oak adds a bit of structure, but this wine is enormously juicy and approachable. It’s a stylish and elegant partner for roasts or the cheeseboard.

Owned by the Bénillan family for six generations, this is a small property with a traditional approach to winemaking. The current owner, Céline Bénillan, creates this wine, which is full of soft bramble fruit character with gentle toastiness from oak ageing.
