Chardonnay is widely planted and comes in many styles ranging from crisp and unoaked (with a distinctive mineral edge in Chablis) to opulent and creamy when aged in barrel. Its spiritual home of Burgundy produces some of the world’s most sought-after whites. Pair it with: fresh shellfish (unoaked) or creamy poultry dishes (oaked).
