Grenache or Garnacha

Widely planted around the world, this popular grape variety, known as Garnacha in Spanish, is renowned for being soft on the palate while delivering a spicy, red berry-flavoured bouquet. In France, Grenache is an important grape typically blended to make Côtes du Rhône wines. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the finest expressions of the Grenache grape.
